Describe. A square of off-white colour that Pantone calls 'Cloud Dancer'. Probably not the exact Pantone colour though. It has a slight texture; it is not perfectly flat. It is interrupted with a vertical pattern that runs throughout at various visible intensities. The texture of the hardboard also shows through the top layers of paint, because of the sanding, creating what looks a bit like a petri dish of sperm viewed under a microscope. This Cloud Dancer colour is also similar to the colour of semen. Speaking of fertility, creation, love. Seminal, the beginnings, or the foundations. The vertical pattern seems to create a rhythm.
